United Haven Empowerment Foundation who is built with trust, community leadership, and systems change. We work at the intersection of informal support networks and formal systems to expand access to care, protection, and justice for underserved populations.Â
Our strategy focuses on:
Using lived experiences to inform advocacy and systems change
Creating pathways between informal networks and formal services
Utilizing low-cost digital tools and grassroots structures for wider reach
Building trust within communities to reach individuals excluded from formal systems
Leveraging partnerships to connect communities with existing healthcare, legal, and psychosocial services

Supporting violence prevention, community sensitization, and survivor-centered response systems.

Addressing climate justice challenges through community engagement, environmental awareness, and youth-led actions.
Governance & Advocacy
Advocating for improved implementation of existing laws and policies, strengthening community participation, and promoting accountability.
Youth Empowerment (Sports, Media Literacy, and Leadership)
Engaging young people through sports interventions in schools and communities, leadership development, and storytelling/journalism initiatives to counter misinformation and strengthen the youth voice.
